MCP (Model Context Protocol)

Agents & orchestration

MCP is a standardised protocol that lets an AI agent connect to a company's tools and data: APIs, databases, cloud services. Often compared to a “USB-C port for agentic AI”, it cleanly separates reasoning (the model), knowledge (the data) and action (business tools), with permission control.

In practice at Gensai

Gensai relies on standardised MCP-style connectors to plug its agents into clients' business tools without proprietary lock-in.
